Stacey Tkachuk obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and completed a hospital Pharmacy Residency with Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services. Following her residency, she worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in maternal fetal medicine and in the neonatal intensive care unit. In 2018, she received her post-baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UBC. Since then, Stacey has worked as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in HIV at the Oak Tree Clinic at Children’s & Women’s Health Centre of BC where she is also the Associate Clinical Pharmacy Lead for the department of pharmacy. 

Stacey’s particular interests are optimizing antiretroviral therapy in women, with a particular focus on drug therapy during pregnancy or as women age, pediatric antiretroviral therapy and prevention of perinatal HIV transmission.
